The image was scanned exceptionally well, successfully retaining a majority of the intricate detail present in the original. By meticulously eliminating most of the noise and judiciously sharpening the overall image, including key facial details, the final result is now much cleaner and far more visually appealing. Additionally, the yellowing that affected the image has been significantly reduced, enhancing its overall clarity. The final dimensions of this restored image will be 8 X 10, which is just a small fraction larger than the original size. This slight enlargement will conveniently provide a standard frame selection for both mounting and long-term preservation purposes.
